How Do I Create a Strong Brand Identity

By Stu Leventhal (Guru Marketing Tips Editor)

If you own a company then you already have a Brand Image. Your Brand is how other people; customers, clients, networking partners, competitors, potential new customers, suppliers... all think of your company.

Your brand is not what we think about any one product or service you provide or sell. But, if you do have one great product that can contribute greatly to your standing in your industry. Your Brand's Image is the overall rating people give your company as a whole.

Here are Five Ways A Company Brand is Judged:

  1. Your honesty - Do You Conduct Business legally and Ethically? Morally?
  2. Your Trustworthiness - Do You Stand Behind Your Products and Services? Do You Recognize That Your Employees Represent You and Thus You Take Responsibility for those Working Under Your Watch?
  3. Dependability - Are you Reliable? Do You Cut Corners? Skimp?
  4. Do You Give Back to the Community? Charities?
  5. Do You Have High Standards and Goals of Being the Best? Everyone Says They Wish to Be the Top Dog But Are You Striving  to Be the Cheapest on the Market or the Very Best Available Source? Selling Quality or Price?
